Preschool panda program

$50 (tax included)/30 mins/session (maximum number of children: 25)

Are you a preschool teacher or program planner who is looking for a new program which enhances physical, mental and emotional well-being of your young children?

This program will complement your daily classes in many ways: it increases children's concentration by playing various games based on mindfulness practice; it helps building body and mind awareness by teaching children age appropriate safe yoga postures and breath techniques.

Regular yoga practice not only will increase children's physical strength, but also will enhance their mental and emotional well-being. The program teaches yoga values such as: patience, kindness, self acceptance, etc. In long term, children will develop their self regulation skills to cope with strong emotions such as fear, anger, jealousy, sadness, excitement.

Each session is based on a different theme such as:

  • ocean,
  • zoology,
  • geography,
  • alphabets and numbers,
  • seasons of year,
  • nature,
  • etc;

Learn French with Yoga - 101

1 hour/session - $20/session/child (group lessons) - Duration: 10 sessions

How practicing yoga can help learning a new language?

Most of children learn through three major learning channels: audio, visual, kinesthetic. In this program, the yoga and mindfulness practices will help children to be more mindful and efficient during their language learning process.

What objectives?

Improve oral skills; to be able to make simple conversations with others; to be able to listen mindfully.

Learn french alphabets, numbers (1-10), shapes, colors, seasons, animals, foods, families.

Learn to introduce their families, tell others their favorite foods and animals by making simple sentences.

Now your children are familiar with the routine of each class, they can easily follow instructions in french which make them feeling more confident in playing yoga games with others, They start to understand stories and inventing simple storyoga with teacher's assistance.

Learn Chinese with Yoga - 101

1 hour/session - $20/session/child (group lessons) - Duration: 10 sessions

A creative and fun language learning program for preschooler and schooler to listen, speak and learn Chinese by doing mindfulness games, reading stories, roll-playing, singing and practicing yoga postures. In the program, yoga serves as a tool which enhances their senses, it helps children to learn a new language with effectiveness.

Each level will help gradually the students to establish a solid foundation of vocabulary, knowledge of Chinese and communication skills through the natural and gradual integration of language. The program emphasizes the development of communication skills in listening, speaking and reading.

Objectives:

Learn Pinyin, tones, the structures of chinese characters, tracing characters. Learn to introduce self, families and great each other, to count till 10, learn months, weeks, learn to tell age and birthday.

1 hour/session - $20/session/child (group lessons) - duration 10 sessions

Learn basic Chinese grammar and make simple sentences. Learn more Chinese vocabulary such as shapes, animals, colors. Learn to listen and speaking skills in basic conversations such as make a phone call between families and friends, tell others their favorite foods, shapes and animals.

School panda program

45 mins/session - $3/session/child (group lessons)

Grade 1 to 6

School age children face more challenges in their personal life and academic study. Many children live in stress and frustration without noticing the impact on their own body, mind, emotions, and on the others.

Having a yoga class either at the beginning of the school day or in the afternoon sustains student's energy, increases their concentration, creates a relaxing and joyful learning atmosphere.

Yoga helps children to be more aware of the connection between their body, mind and emotions; it teaches them self-regulation skills to deal with negative and strong emotions; it also offers them simple tools to relax. In long term, children will become more resilient. Yoga helps building inner strength and peacefulness.

Each session includes the practice of age appropriate safe asanas, pranayama (techniques of breath), mindfulness practice, guided meditation and visualization, yoga games and lecture. Which focuses on one of the fundamental values in yoga practice, such as: compassion, self care, gratitude, patience, honesty, mindfulness, nonviolence, respect.

High school peaceful warrior yoga program

1 hour/session - $3/session/child (group lessons)

Grade 7 to 12

Including 8 topics: (each topic will be taught during 4 sessions)

  • Living in present: Mindful listening, hearing, eating, acting, seeing, talking, thinking, playing.
  • Self care: learn to reduce stress and relax.
  • Inside out: be aware of my emotions and learn to live peacefully with them.
  • Gratitude: be aware of the giving and receiving processes.
  • Non violence: be kind in words, actions, thoughts towards ourselves and any other beings.
  • Honesty: making alignment between words, thoughts and actions.
  • No stealing: respect other's space, time and thoughts.
  • Sadhana: learn to be a peaceful warrior by doing daily yoga practices.

Your teenager students are facing the second dramatical change in physical and mental level after the prenatal stage. Some of them are suffering of anxiety, sadness, agitation and anger, self consciousness, lack of concentration. They are seeking tools to understand, accept themselves and build their own identities. The regular yoga and mindfulness practices can help growing their inner peacefulness and mental strength.

The eight topics will integrate progressively yoga values and practices through their daily life. You can book either one topic (4 sessions) or book the full topics.

After school classes

1 hour/session - $8/session/child (group lessons)

Grade 1 to 6

A typical day of nowadays school kids can include pre-dawn wake-up calls, over 8hrs study and more hours of after school care. This can be exhausting for them and cause stress, obesity, concentration issues. Are you an after school teacher who is looking for a program which teaches children self regulation tools to relax and calm down their body, mind and emotions?

Focusing on relaxation and imagination, this yoga class gives children opportunities to lead yoga games, practice progressively age appropriate yoga poses, learn breath techniques, and dance to increase the awareness of connection between body, mind and emotions.

Grade 7 to 12

Breath, move and regenerate!

Focusing on the traditional Hatha yoga practices, this yoga class helps your preteenager children to reunite their body, mind and emotions; it release their physical and mental stress accumulated during the day through breathing exercises, asanas (poses), yoga nidra, yoga journaling.

Yoga for seniors

1 hour/session - $60/session

Regular yoga practice can support the challenges of aging. Yoga can increase strength, body awareness, mental clarity, and flexibility.

Yoga for Seniors focuses on balance, alignment, and proper breathing. In Chair Yoga, a chair is used as support. This makes the practice accessible to those who have difficulty getting up and down off the floor. Yoga for Seniors can also provide an opportunity for those with physical restrictions to practice yoga.

Private yoga class for seniors with physical restriction (in French, English, Mandarin)

Hatha Yoga for beginner

Group yoga class (in French)

The classes focus on helping new immigrants to relax mentally and physically by practicing fundamental yoga postures, learning breathing Technics and meditation skills. Each class is focused on a different theme, such as yoga for lower back pain, yoga for shoulders and neck, restorative yoga for deep relaxation, etc.

Private yoga class (in French, English, Mandarin)

1 hour/session - $60/session

Based on Hatha yoga, the classes are made to you to relax mentally and physically. Each class is designed for responding to client’s special needs, such as:

  • Arthritis,
  • Overweight/obesity,
  • Runners’ aches,
  • Thyroid imbalance,
  • High blood pressure,
  • ADD/ADHD,
  • etc.
